Weeknight Meals

Work, Work, Work. Whether your day ends at three o'clock or five o'clock (or later!), we still have that final meal of the day to consider. Just because we may be short on time doesn't mean we have to be short on quality. Here you will find posts in regards to those weeknight meals I create for my family. I can't count the number of times I used to come home and smell something my mother was preparing in the crockpot. As a working family it allowed her to have a meal ready for us when we all got home after a day at our respective jobs (or school in my case!). Those aroma's that would permeate the air as soon as you walked in the door immediately triggered the salivary gland and had you walking right into the kitchen to get a closer look. Now that I'm married, I always look to recreate those experiences for my wife (and soon to be son!!!).

Crockpot Roast
- An easy to assemble treat. Have your next date thinking you spent all day preparing this tender juicy roast.

BBQ Pulled Pork in the Crockpot
- Another in a line of recipes that have come a long way. This one, however, finally met the finish line! Countless times my mother has done country style ribs in the crockpot. I decided to take mine a step further and achieved awesome results!

Grilled Pork
- Simple, yet fun. This recipe took no time at all and was on the table before Mama Zuri walked in the door.
